Orders & Products

1. What is the difference between "Handmade" and "Curated" items?

Our store features two types of products:

  • Handmade Resin Art: These are unique items made and designed entirely by the Resin Ripple Co team (e.g., coasters, trays, bespoke jewellery). These items are often one-of-a-kind.
  • Curated Household Essentials: These are carefully chosen, high-quality items sourced from trusted suppliers to complement your lifestyle (e.g., specific home accessories, gadgets). We select these items for their design, quality, and fit with our brand aesthetic.

2. Are the pieces really unique? Will my item look exactly like the photo?

For our handmade resin pieces, yes! Due to the fluid nature of resin and the manual pouring process, no two pieces are ever identical. While we strive to match the colour scheme and style of the listing photos, variations in colour placement, depth, and ripple patterns are natural and part of the art's charm. This uniqueness is a testament to it being handmade, not factory-made.

3. Is there a minor flaw in my resin art (e.g., tiny bubbles or slight unevenness)?

We work meticulously to minimise imperfections. However, small, trapped air bubbles or a slight unevenness on the underside of a piece can sometimes occur due to the curing process. These are not considered flaws but are common characteristics of authentic handmade resin art. We ensure all items meet our high-quality standards before shipping.


Custom Orders

4. How do I request a custom resin piece?

We love creating bespoke art! Please visit our dedicated Custom Design Services page (link to be updated) for the full process. You can submit your idea, preferred colours, and any inclusions (like flowers or photos) via email to contact@resinripple.co.uk. We will then provide a quote and estimated turnaround time.

5. How long do custom orders take?

Custom orders require a production and curing period. Typically, the processing time is [7-14] business days from the date the design and payment are confirmed. This does not include shipping time.


Shipping & Returns

6. What are your delivery times and costs?

We offer various shipping options. You can view all rates and estimated times on our dedicated Shipping Policy page. Note that processing time (for making your item) is separate from shipping time.

7. What if my item arrives damaged?

Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt. If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days via email at contact@resinripple.co.uk. Attach clear photographs of the damage and the shipping box. We will assist you in arranging a return or filing a claim with the courier. Full details are in our Return and Refund Policy.


Sustainability & Care

8. What are your pieces made of?

We use high-quality epoxy resin. We are committed to using low-toxicity, [ Epoxy, low-VOC/BPA-free] resin wherever possible. We detail our sustainable practices on our Sustainability Commitment page 

9. How should I clean and care for my resin art?

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth and a mild soap and water solution. Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
  • Heat: Do not place hot items (such as mugs directly from a stove) on resin pieces. Resin is heat-resistant up to 50-60°C, but extreme heat can damage the surface.
  • Sunlight: Avoid prolonged direct sunlight, which can cause the resin to yellow over time.
  • Not Dishwasher Safe: Never place resin items in the dishwasher.

10. What about your packaging?

We are proud to use 100% plastic-free, recycled, and recyclable packaging. This includes our boxes, internal padding, and sealing tape, aligning with our commitment to eco-conscious operations.
